I am the service user’s ex, and we have been friends since we broke up 35 years ago. We have children and grandchildren between us. Innovations24 cared for my mum with two visits per week for the last 18 months. We appointed them following an outstanding recommendation from a friend. Mum had been receiving care from an NHS team following discharge from a reablement unit, she was very unhappy with their provision and terminated the agreement. From the moment Innovations24 came out to meet mum, conduct the assessment and develop the care plan, mum was very happy. She loved the friendly approach and felt they were genuinely interested in her as a person. Throughout the 18 months of care, Innovations24 were reliable, trustworthy, caring and took their duty of care and safeguarding very seriously. My brother and I, for the first time in many years, felt able to relax, knowing the carers were looking after mum. Communication with the agency and carers was excellent. Mum could often be challenging to engage with but their staff really built strong bonds and ways to deal with her and get the best outcomes.

Innovations 24 came into our lives April 24 after my dad suffered atrial fibrillation and a stroke he is now partially blind and has short term memory loss. He was the carer for my mum who has dementia. Our whole world was turned upside down until the girls came along. They were all very friendly , loving and professional mum absolutely loved seeing them every day, they came in 3 times a day helped wash/shower, dress and medicate mum, also make her breakfast/lunch/dinner if needed. We had to make the hardest decision to put mum into a care home as dad was struggling with mum through the night. We really couldn't fault anything about the girls. Thank you to the whole team you are all amazing we couldn't of done it without you.
